During your setup experience with Hiya AI Phone, the onboarding walkthrough guided you through the steps to successfully enable call forwarding.
For any of Hiya AI Phone's call-related features to work, call forwarding must be enabled. However, call forwarding can be temporarily disabled to address troubleshooting or unrelated carrier issues.
To enable call forwarding and Hiya AI Phone features:
- Open the Hiya AI Phone app
- Open the app settings
- In the Phone preferences section, find the Call Forwarding Status
- Tap Enable and follow any on-screen instructions
Important note: Call forwarding must be disabled when uninstalling the Hiya AI Phone app. Neglecting to disable call forwarding can result in missed calls. Learn how to disable call forwarding before uninstalling the app.
